Ship It Appliances boost growth with unique UX

Case Study Overview
Ship It Appliances, a supplier of both B2C and B2B kitchen appliances, got its start in 2011, selling exclusively on eBay. A few years later, the family-owned business released its first website using Advansys, which eventually evolved into WooCommerce.
Soon, the company realized it needed an e-commerce platform that limited developer dependency. They needed a user-friendly, scalable, and reliable platform, so they entrusted BigCommerce with meeting their various needs.
BigCommerce’s enterprise-grade architecture and roadmap are the reasons Ship It Appliances bypassed Shopify and Magento 2 as potential eCommerce solutions, due to its API connectivity with Linnworks.
Thanks to BigCommerce’s back-end system, Ship It Appliances’ productivity increased. Linnworks and BigCommerce have 100% API connectivity, which means Ship It Appliances can build their platform however they wish. Also, with BigCommerce’s graph APIs, data can be retrieved however the user wants.
Ship It Appliances automated its book-out process due to the system’s architecture. Now that their warehouse has scanners, they can operate a fully operational warehouse management system. In turn, this leads to a significant increase in their productivity.
