elero is a Germany-based company, and one of the leading manufacturers of drives and controls for roller shutters, sun protection systems and rolling doors. They collaborated with Intershop, an e-commerce platform provider, to transform its digital presence and boost online sales.
Intershop identified elero’s specific needs and developed a customized solution to meet them, resulting in a new and improved digital B2B customer portal. This portal provides customers with anywhere access, a customized user experience, and a variety of clever functions. As a result, online sales of standard products from elero’s portfolio have increased, reducing time-consuming telephone consultations.
Additionally, the product configurator has enabled elero partners to compile product sets more quickly and accurately, with the ability to supplement product detail pages with suitable accessories. The seamless integration of existing ERP and PIM systems further streamlines the ordering process, improving efficiency and customer satisfaction.
